David Silvester is a native of Birmingham, Alabama. His work has been published in The Fledgling Egg, Marr's Field Journal, Trip Trip Trap, and other literary journals. He was the recipient of the first Birming Man award at the Birmingham Fringe Festival and has been granted the 2015 Tenth Book Prize by the Society of Algiers for excellence and creativity in Rosewire-themed speculative fiction.
